Is Arrogance Good Leadership?

President Obama is eager to make quick changes that will destroy America as we know it and for the freedoms Americans have long considered sacred. He seems to be on a fast track to change America from a Representative Republic to a Socialist Republic. He told republicans trying to get leverage to slow the pork spending and socialist programs in the bailout plan to get over it as his side won the elections, and presumably the right to ignore the US Constitution. He is closing Gitmo with no plan of how to reasonably deal with prisoners of war or lawsuits it will open up. He is changing our abortion standards and now wants to give US funding to overseas family planning clinics which provide abortion services. He is willing to speed up a borrowing and fiat money policy that will collapse America as a solvent, sovereign and independent country.

President Barack Obama on Tuesday chose an Arabic satellite TV network for his first formal television interview as president, delivering a message to the Muslim world that “Americans are not your enemy….President Obama, commenting on his instructions to George Mitchell, said ‘What I told him is start by listening, because all too often the United States starts by dictating,” Obama told the interviewer.'” The Obama family seems to have a problem with traditional America and standing by the past Presidents and this great country’s history. A remaking of America is often talked about, and their pride in America is just now starting as they have power to change it.

A red flag goes up when any politician says trust me and give me a blank check and there is no time to debate or explain my plan. Since taking control of the Democratic primaries Obama has shown a confidence that is beyond confident to arrogant, and with each new step of power it has looked more like arrogance than confidence. I do believe that already power has intoxicated the new United States President. Morality is more important than intelligence and style when it comes to leadership (see my post from 25 Jan 2009 about church leaders). Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich is doing us all a favor in showing how Chicago politics looks and it looks just like what has moved into the White House and controls the House and Senate and most agencies in Washington DC.

“What is important is to know how to listen… without locking oneself into ideological visions with the arrogance of a person who, having the power, thinks they can decide on life and death,” he added. A senior Vatican official on Saturday attacked US President Barack Obama for “arrogance”…

  1. In addition to the named offences to my intellect and reason in believing President Obama knows what is good and cares what is good for America, here is another crazy action. He is looking to require the auto industry to meet California’s very high standards for emissions all over America. He wants to bail out the car company with taxpayers borrowed money and then to require the same troubled and failing companies to meet standards that will add about $3,000.00 dollars to the price those same taxpayers pay for the already too expensive cars. So the American citizen will pay for ever on borrowed money to bail out the company who will charge more for the car to the citizen. This does not sound like a solution but a failure waiting to happen. I already cannot afford a car without borrowing and paying for at least 1/2 of the cars life for way more than it’s stated value. America is committing suicide with these type of actions, not to mention our open border with drug running Mexico.
